To a two year old soon means within the next minute or two.
To an elementary age child soon means today or tomorrow.
To a high schooler soon means this week.
To an adult soon means _______. Fill in the blank. What does soon mean to you?
With an adoption soon means who knows. One of the biggest things that we can plan on with an adoption is that you can't plan on anything. Timelines are more of a generalization not an exact set schedule.
And so we wait.But hopefully it will be soon.
